Scheduled task
A prompt that runs by itself: a morning enquiries summary or a weekly report. Available in ChatGPT (even free, limited), in Claude on paid plans and in Microsoft's Cowork (preview: Microsoft 365 Premium on personal accounts, or a Copilot licence in the Frontier programme on business accounts).
Automation with Zapier or Make
When X happens, do Y: a website lead lands in a sheet and gets a draft email. Stable, predictable and a good fit for a small business.
Agent that does a long task
ChatGPT Work, Claude Cowork or Copilot Cowork gather information and produce a document or sheet. Great for preparation, less so for sending on their own.
Customer bot
Answers common questions on your website or WhatsApp. It needs approved content, banned topics and a quick hand-off to a person.
No-code agent builders
Google Workspace Studio, Copilot Studio and Zapier Agents let you build an internal agent. Worth it once a simple automation already works.
What is not realistic yet

What is the best AI for a small business?
There is no single winner. A business on Gmail and Google Docs gets the most from Gemini and Workspace, one on Outlook and Excel from Copilot, and for writing, quotes and automation ChatGPT and Claude are very strong. All of them read and write Hebrew; Gemini has a Hebrew interface, and Copilot officially supports Hebrew in chat.
How much does AI cost for a business with 3 employees?

Do ChatGPT or Claude use my customers' data for training?
On business plans (Claude Team, ChatGPT Business) not by default. On personal plans, free ones included, you need to turn training off in the settings. Either way, never paste credit card numbers, ID numbers or passwords.
What is an AI agent for a business, and do I need a programmer?
For most small businesses an agent is a scheduled task or a Zapier or Make automation that reads a request, prepares a draft and waits for approval. You build that without code. A customer bot or an agent acting alone across several systems needs careful setup, and sometimes a professional.
Can I connect ChatGPT to my business WhatsApp?
Not as a general assistant. Since 15 January 2026 Meta lets AI providers offer general-purpose assistants on the WhatsApp business platform only where the law requires it (per the terms: EEA and Brazil numbers). A bot that serves your business, such as customer support or booking, is an ancillary use Meta allows through an official provider, and Meta has its own Meta Business Agent.
